Social media can be a very valuable tool by adding great exposure options to your event and
additional dollars to your bottom line.

Facebook Icon1. Facebook – if your organization doesn’t currently have a Facebook page, it would be most beneficial for you to start one without delay. Once you have done so, send out emails to everyone on your email list letting them know that you are now on Facebook. Ask them to sign up as Friends. Keep your Facebook page continually updated with information concerning your event.

LinkedIn2. Linkedin – another valuable marketing tool. This is a business-to-business communication avenue. A Linkedin post can yield a multitude of viewers who may be interested in your fundraiser… and it’s free!

3. YYouTubeouTube – don’t forget this important means of media communication. You can produce and download a short video, even giving a glimpse of the items to be auctioned off.
